The Dinner Detective reserves the right to refuse entry to, deny service to, and/or remove from the premises any guests who do not adhere to these Terms & Conditions! Please read carefully and thoroughly!
Show Policy
DRESS CODE: Business casual/dressy casual is required unless specified. No logo/printed T-shirts, shorts, ballcaps, flip-flops, or torn clothes are permissible. Jeans are acceptable unless specified.
MINIMUM AGE: Minimum age varies by location. If your group intends to bring a minor, please visit your chosen location’s FAQ page for exact age requirements for your venue. No babies, toddlers, or young children are allowed to attend.
SPECIAL EFFECTS: Fake prop guns, loud simulated gunshots, and brief lighting outages may be used as part of the performance.
REFUNDS/RESCHEDULING/CHANGES: Upon completing your purchase with The Dinner Detective, you agreed that all sales are final. Due to our immediate and guaranteed transactional contracts with our venues, The Dinner Detective cannot and will not offer partial or full refunds for show tickets and/or packages. The “all sales final” agreement is absolute and includes, but is not limited to, all illness, injury, family emergency and trip cancellations. Should you need to reschedule and it is at least 7 days before your scheduled event, then a $20/ticket transfer fee will apply. No transfers less than 7 days before the event. No meal changes less than 4 days before the event, including at the event itself.
WEAPON/CONCEALED CARRY POLICY: The Dinner Detective does not allow weapons into our shows, even with a concealed carry permit, or in areas where it is otherwise legal. This policy applies to all of our locations worldwide, without exception.
CHECK-IN POLICY: All seating is pre-assigned and will be communicated to you at the show. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to check-in. Your confirmation page and a valid photo ID must be presented at check-in. Any tickets left unclaimed 45 minutes after show check-in begins may be subject to forfeiture without refund.
FOOD, ALCOHOL & DISRUPTION POLICY: OUTSIDE FOOD AND/OR DRINK IS NOT ALLOWED; THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. To-go boxes are not allowed due to health code and venue restrictions. We have a full bar available at the show that opens at check-in, and an ATM is easily accessible inside the venue. If any guests in your party arrive at the show visibly intoxicated, or become visibly intoxicated or overly disruptive during the show itself, The Dinner Detective reserves the right to refuse service to those guests and/or ask those guests to leave the show without a refund of monies paid.
FILMING & VIDEO RECORDING: To ensure that every guest enjoys the performance without distractions and to respect the artistic integrity of our performers, we kindly inform you that filming and video recording during the show is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Dinner Detective Productions Inc.. This policy is in place to protect the privacy of our artists and attendees, and to preserve the unique atmosphere of live entertainment. Unauthorized recording may result in the confiscation of your device and/or removal from the venue without a refund. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a memorable experience for all guests.
WAIVER – ASSUMPTION OF RISK: We appreciate your cooperation as we strive to make the guest experience as safe as possible for all. Although preventative measures set forth by The Dinner Detective and their host venues are intended to help reduce the spread of any virus, we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit. By purchasing tickets to and/or attending this event with The Dinner Detective, you acknowledge the following:
- You acknowledge notice of and agree to follow all facility rules, posted instructions, as well as all local city, county and state ordinances and protocols.
- You agree to notify all guests for whom you are purchasing tickets of the instructions and protocols disclosed here, those that may be made publicly available for the event, and those that may be conveyed prior to your party’s arrival.
- You acknowledge and agree that you are voluntarily assuming all risks of exposure to any virus and agree to release, waive and discharge The Dinner Detective, the host facility, its parent entities, and all related and affiliated individuals and entities, and all individuals and entities involved in the event for The Dinner Detective which you are attending, from all claims directly or indirectly arising from your attendance at The Dinner Detective.
Privacy Policy
Scope: This Privacy Policy covers TheDinnerDetective.com treatment of personally identifiable information that TheDinnerDetective.com collects when you are on the TheDinnerDetective.com web site (“Site”). This policy does not cover the treatment of personally identifiable information that may be collected by other web sites (“Third-Party Sites”) that TheDinnerDetective.com links to or is otherwise affiliated with.

TheDinnerDetective.com will contact you regarding important information related to an event for which you have already purchased tickets. This will include important information such as event location, schedule, cancellation, postponement, or relocation. It may also include a question or problem related to your order or payment. This contact may come via email and/or SMS text message. By purchasing tickets, gift certificates, or merchandise from TheDinnerDetective.com, you indicate your opt-in consent to receiving any important account-related communications via email and/or SMS.
