Introduction to Interactive Dinner Shows
You walk into the Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel and it feels like any other weekend downtown. There is a low buzz of conversation, clinking glasses, and couples finding their seats. Suddenly, a guest asks a curious question, and dinner becomes an investigation. This is Salt Lake City’s most unpredictable interactive dinner show; you are not just watching it. You are in it.
Venue update for 2026
We are moving to the Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel in January. Starting with our first January show, check in at 150 West 500 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. Until then, performances continue at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center. Your confirmation email will always list the correct venue and address for your date.
From spectator to suspect in seconds
Salt Lake City offers plenty of options for a night out. For example, you can see Broadway tours at the Eccles Theater, catch stand up at Wiseguys Comedy, wander the downtown gallery stroll, or hear live music at The Depot. However, most of those nights put you in a seat. Here, the experience pulls you into the middle of the action.
Our show works differently. Because our actors do not wear costumes and do not perform on a stage, they sit among you and chat as if they are fellow guests. As a result, they plant ideas and create doubt. That friendly couple sharing theories might be suspects. Perhaps the person who swears they saw something is part of the cast. Before long, you might be a suspect too.
From the opening interrogation reception onward, the entire room becomes the crime scene. Clues appear between courses, alibis wobble, and conversations turn into spirited debates. Meanwhile, you trade notes with your table and with people you just met. It is social, funny, and surprisingly competitive. If you want a quick overview of how the evening flows, take a look at what to expect.
A real dinner, not just background food
Your ticket includes a full three course meal served at natural breaks in the show. Consequently, you are never cutting into an entree while you are missing a clue.
Choose one entree:
Honey garlic roasted chicken breast with whipped Yukon potatoes, broccolini, maple bourbon carrots, and red wine chicken jus
Lemon thyme seared salmon with jasmine rice, broccolini, maple bourbon carrots, and caper beurre blanc
Mushroom ravioli with morel velouté, Swiss chard, fresh Parmesan, and black truffle for vegetarian guests
You start with a house salad and finish with a chef’s choice dessert. Guests regularly tell us the food is better than they expected from a dinner show. In addition, a full bar is available for drinks which are separate from your ticket. Wait staff gratuity is included.
Why this experience stands out in Salt Lake City
It is social by design
You will swap theories, form alliances, and create inside jokes with people you just met. As a result, many groups leave with new friends.
It is truly unpredictable
There is no stage to stare at and no costumes to tip you off. With actors hiding in plain sight, you have to stay sharp. Therefore every audience changes the story at this interactive dinner show in downtown Salt Lake City.
It is a real challenge
We award a Top Sleuth prize for the best solve. Although plenty of people try, most do not get it exactly right which makes the reveal even more fun.
It fits any occasion
Date nights, birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and corporate team building all work here. Private shows for 30 to 400 guests are available at the Sheraton or at your venue. For extra fun, the Suspect Package lets you secretly frame someone in your group and it is a hit for birthdays.
The location makes the night easy
Beginning in January, we are downtown at the Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel at 150 West 500 South. Until then, shows take place at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center on South West Temple. Before and after the show, consider Franklin Ave Cocktails and Kitchen or explore nightlife ideas from Visit Salt Lake. Park once and make a full evening of it.

What the night feels like
Arrival
Check in 10 to 15 minutes early. Grab a drink and start people watching. You will immediately begin guessing who looks suspicious.
Reception
The interrogation-style reception warms up the room and the case. You will meet colorful guests who might be more than they seem.
Dinner and the investigation
Clues drop between courses. Suspects crack under pressure. You compare notes with your table and often with other tables too.
The reveal
The twists land, the killer is unmasked, and you find out how close you were. The Top Sleuth walks away with bragging rights and a prize.
What guests are saying
We average 4.7 stars across more than 500+ reviews. Guests describe the show as immensely entertaining and quite challenging. One review from a police officer simply said it was amazing to experience from the other side. People do not write that many positive reviews for something that is just fine. They write them when a night out surprises them in a great way.
That is what keeps this interactive dinner show on so many must do lists in Salt Lake City.
