By purchasing Dinner Detective tickets, you indicate that you understand and agree with our Terms & Conditions as outlined below. Our full Terms & Conditions may be viewed by clicking here.

The Dinner Detective reserves the right to refuse entry and/or deny service to any guests who do not adhere to these Terms & Conditions.

DRESS CODE: Business casual/dressy casual is required unless specified. No logo/printed T-shirts, shorts, ballcaps, flip-flops, or torn clothes are permissible. Jeans are acceptable unless specified.

MINIMUM AGE: Our required minimum age is 15, and adult supervision is required.

SPECIAL EFFECTS: Fake guns, loud gunshots, and brief lighting outages are used as part of the performance.

COVID-19 & VACCINATION: By entering a Dinner Detective Event, you agree to follow the current state and local Public Health Guidelines for Indoor Events. Specifically, (if required by local authorities) you attest that you will comply with the vaccination or testing requirements for entry into the event. Remember, if you’re not feeling well, please stay home!

REFUND/RESCHEDULING: Once your purchase/reservation is complete, all sales are final. The Dinner Detective cannot and does not offer partial or full refunds or cancellations of show tickets or packages. Should you need to reschedule and it is at least 7 days before your scheduled event, then a $20/ticket transfer fee will apply. No transfers less than 7 days before the event. No meal changes less than 4 days before the event, including at the event itself.

CHECK-IN: All seating is pre-assigned and will be communicated to you at the show.  A valid ID and your confirmation page must be present at check-in. Tickets/seats not claimed 45 minutes after check-in time may be subject to forfeiture.

ALCOHOL AND DISRUPTION: OUTSIDE FOOD AND/OR DRINK IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED; THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. To-go boxes are not allowed due to health code and venue restrictions. A full bar is available at the show. Any guests who arrive at the event intoxicated, or become disruptive or overly intoxicated during the show, may be asked to leave the event immediately without a refund.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE: The Dinner Detective reserves the right to refuse service to any and all guests in your party who act verbally or physically disruptive or abusive at any point during the show.

FORCE MAJEURE: The Dinner Detective cannot accept any responsibility for accidents, injuries, lost or stolen items or damage to personal or private property (including vehicles and clothing).  The Dinner Detective cannot be held accountable for financial recuperation (unless required by law) for force majeure/"Acts of God" or for any states of emergency as deemed by local, state and/or federal governments.

WAIVER - ASSUMPTION OF RISK: All guests must follow all facility rules, posted instructions, local city, county and state ordinances and protocols. You acknowledge and agree that you are voluntarily assuming all risks of exposure to any virus including COVID-19 and agree to release, waive and discharge The Dinner Detective, the host facility, its parent entities, and all related and affiliated individuals and entities, and all individuals and entities involved in the event for The Dinner Detective which you are attending, from all claims directly or indirectly arising from your attendance at The Dinner Detective.

The Dinner Detective team is excited to have you join us for an upcoming live show!  For everyone’s safety and comfort, we have updated our guidelines and requirements for live performances per local restrictions.

VENUE RESTRICTIONS:
Max 10 guests per table, max 2 households per table.
  • Touchless Clues – Clues accessible via phone.
  • Evidence – All show supplies are prepared with gloves, sealed, & placed at tables before arrival.
  • Banquet Guest Space – Reduced guest count and larger showroom for greater distancing between tables. Larger tables, fewer guests per table, more room in between parties.
  • Face Masks – All guests are required to wear masks when not seated and / or actively eating or drinking.
  • Wait Staff – All servers will wear face covering & gloves throughout event.
