DRESS CODE POLICY:  Business casual or dressy casual is absolutely required unless otherwise specified in the event description. No logo/printed T-shirts, shorts, ballcaps, flip-flops, or torn clothes are permissible.  Unripped jeans and a nice top are OK!  If any guests in your party do not conform to our dress code, The Dinner Detective reserves the right to deny entry to those guests without a refund of monies paid.

AGE REQUIREMENT: The show is recommended for adults 18 and up only. Our absolute minimum age is 15, and adult supervision is required. If your party arrives at the show with a child younger than 15,  The Dinner Detective reserves the right to deny entry to your party without a refund of monies paid.

CHECK-IN POLICY:  All seating is pre-assigned and will be communicated to you at the show. Please arrive no later than 6pm. A valid ID and your confirmation page must be present at check-in.

FOOD, ALCOHOL, DISRUPTION & SEATING POLICY: Due to liabilities and health codes, NO outside food or drink will be allowed into the show. We have a full bar available that opens at check-in time. The bar is cash only. If any guests in your party arrive at the show visibly intoxicated, or become visibly intoxicated or overly disruptive during the show itself, The Dinner Detective reserves the right to refuse service to those guests and/or ask those guests to leave the show without a refund of monies paid. All seating is assigned in advance of the show. While there is no guarantee, all requesting parties will be seated together to the best of our ability.

REFUND/RESCHEDULING/CHANGE POLICY:  Once your purchase/reservation is complete, all sales are final. The Dinner Detective cannot and does not offer partial or full refunds or cancellations of show tickets or packages. This policy includes all Dinner Detective shows throughout the United States as well as individual tickets purchased through brokers. Should you need to reschedule and it is at least 7 days before your scheduled event, then a $20/ticket transfer fee will apply. No transfers less than 7 days before the event. No meal changes within 3 days of the event.


Privacy Policy


Scope: This Privacy Policy covers TheDinnerDetective.com treatment of personally identifiable information that TheDinnerDetective.com collects when you are on the TheDinnerDetective.com web site (“Site”). This policy does not cover the treatment of personally identifiable information that may be collected by other web sites (“Third-Party Sites”) that TheDinnerDetective.com links to or is otherwise affiliated with.

Information Collection and Use: TheDinnerDetective.com collects personally identifiable information when you purchase products. Mailing List: The mailing list is a list that may be used by TheDinnerDetective.com. This mailing list may be used to inform you of upcoming events and/or special promotions. You have the option of opting out of the mailing list at anytime. TheDinnerDetective.com will not send marketing or other solicitations to patrons that have chosen not to be included on the mailing list. Regardless of whether you’ve opted out of the mailing list, TheDinnerDetective.com may contact you regarding important information related to an event you’ve already purchased tickets to. This may include important information such as an event cancellation, postponement, or relocation. It may also include a question or problem related to your order or payment.

Cookies: Cookies are small text files that are downloaded to your computer. Cookies cannot damage your computer. Cookies, by themselves, cannot be used to identify you. Unless you’ve chosen to submit personal information to TheDinnerDetective.com through registration or the purchase of products and/or services, TheDinnerDetective.com cannot identify you. Cookies are used by TheDinnerDetective.com to allow the smooth operation of the Site and to track your activity so that we may tailor the content of the Site to match your interests.
