We don’t own the venue where we perform. To rent the venue and prepare our guest's food we're contracted to guarantee we’ll pay for all the meals we submit, whether the guests attend or not. This fee is simply an offset for the next entree(s) cost on the rescheduled date.

THE DINNER DETECTIVE - TERMS & CONDITIONS By purchasing Dinner Detective tickets, you indicate your agreement to ALL of the below terms and conditions! Please read thoroughly! The Dinner Detective reserves the right to refuse entry to, deny service to, and/or remove from the premises any guests who do not adhere to these Terms & Conditions! Please read carefully and thoroughly! DRESS CODE: Business casual/dressy casual is required unless specified. Jeans accepted. No logo/printed T-shirts, shorts, ballcaps, flip-flops, or torn clothes. MINIMUM AGE: Our required minimum age is 15, and adult supervision is required. SPECIAL EFFECTS: Fake prop guns, loud simulated gunshots, and brief lighting outages may be present at your show. REFUND/RESCHEDULING: All sales are final; no refunds after purchase. Rescheduling is subject to a $20/person transfer fee. No rescheduling less than 7 days before the event. No meal changes less than 4 days before the event, including at the event itself. COVID-19 & VACCINATION: All ticket holders must abide by local and federal restrictions and guidelines. All ticket holders acknowledge that attending a live performance could expose them to a risk of COVID-19 exposure. All ticket holders voluntarily assume all risk. CHECK-IN: All seating is pre-assigned and will be communicated to you at the show. A valid ID and your confirmation page must be present at check-in. Tickets/seats not claimed 45 minutes after check-in time may be subject to forfeiture. ALCOHOL AND DISRUPTION: OUTSIDE FOOD AND/OR DRINK IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED; THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. To-go boxes are not allowed due to health code and venue restrictions. A full bar is available at the show. Any guests who arrive at the event intoxicated, or become disruptive or overly intoxicated during the show, may be asked to leave the event immediately without a refund. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE: The Dinner Detective reserves the right to refuse service to any and all guests in your party who act verbally or physically disruptive or abusive at any point during the show. FORCE MAJEURE: The Dinner Detective cannot accept any responsibility for accidents, injuries, lost or stolen items or damage to personal or private property (including vehicles and clothing). The Dinner Detective cannot be held accountable for financial recuperation (unless required by law) for force majeure/"Acts of God" or for any states of emergency as deemed by local, state and/or federal governments. WAIVER - ASSUMPTION OF RISK: All guests must follow all facility rules, posted instructions, local city, county and state ordinances and protocols. You acknowledge and agree that you are voluntarily assuming all risks of exposure to any virus including COVID-19 and agree to release, waive and discharge The Dinner Detective, the host facility, its parent entities, and all related and affiliated individuals and entities, and all individuals and entities involved in the event for The Dinner Detective which you are attending, from all claims directly or indirectly arising from your attendance at The Dinner Detective.
