There are 11 trails to choose from and they all intersect. Guide posts are plenty so you don’t have to worry about getting lost. You can also grab a map at the nature center before you set off. Every trail is uniquely beautiful, serene and so deep you actually forget there’s a modern world with noisy cars and electricity. The nature center itself is beautifully decorated. If you need to take a break from the heat, the place is air-conditioned. There are animals to look at and even some you can touch and caress. There is a picnic area, a splash park and a playground for kids. The park also offers an archery range for all ages and experience types. If you’re looking for an escape from the bustle of everyday life, or connect back to nature, this place has it all.

The holocaust Museum also in Farmington Hills is an experience everyone should experience at least once. It is unlike any other holocaust museum you’ve been to. It’s a heavy emotional experience with detailed historical facts and accounts, so if you want to learn something on your trip this place is highly suggested. The experience is much more enriched with an occasional first account from a survivor of the concentration camps to tour guides.
