Plan your fall season now in El Paso

The leaves are just beginning to change, that clean, crisp smell of Autumn is in the air, and back-to-school sales are nearly everywhere you turn. It can mean only one thing – it’s almost fall! And with the approaching fall season that means it’s also time to start planning loads of fun date nights and family outings to help celebrate the spooky season. Sure, you might think it’s early now, but all of these ideas book well in advance, so show your special someone just how organized you are and get your fall season booked early!

Beer Bites and Beats

One of the best traditions in El Paso is the Beer Bites and Beats Festival taking place throughout Downtown from September 12 through 15. This four-day event is described as a culinary adventure with a focus on local beer tastings and food pairings all with experience-based activities and seminars in art, music and painting. The activities include lots of fun events, like sunrise yoga, live painting, beer dinners and even hiking the Franklin Mountains. Plus, of course, plenty of live music. Tickets are available online, or spring for a VIP experience that includes lots of extras like a poster, access to a special Beer Garden, a festival glass and t-shirt and lots more. Get ready for Fall with this great late-summer send-off!

El Paso Ghost Tours

Do you believe in ghosts? Have you always been curious about spooks? Then kick off October the right way – with a Ghost Tour from El Paso Ghost Tours. This is not a “smoke and mirrors” style silly tour. Instead this team of paranormal investigators will take you into places they have personally had experiences and the goal is to allow you to experience the same thing. They, of course, can’t guarantee anything, but it certainly sounds like a fun way to explore the darker side of El Paso at night. Tours kick off at 8PM and they cost about $15 per person. Make sure to purchase in advance online, as group sizes for tours are limited.

Boo at the Zoo

Of course, you’ll need a good family-friendly activity for Halloween as well, and the annual Boo at the Zoo in El Paso is always the perfect time for the little ones. October 27 and 28 you can bring your kiddos to the El Paso Zoo for one of the most popular events of the year. Last year more than 19,000 people came over the two days of the event, where you can enjoy trick-or-treat stations throughout the zoo plus animal encounters, spooky decorations, games and other fun activities designed just for the younger visitors. It’s a safe and fun way to celebrate Halloween while enjoying all the exotic and wild animals at the Zoo.
