Johnny Rockwell is the youngest of nine children born to a Beat Cop and a Barmaid in the self-segregated, predominately Italian-American community of Elmwood Park, Illinois. At an early age Johnny was exposed to a wide array of troubled crime-fighters and dynamic, part-time swindlers that oftentimes frequented the same watering hole where his mother poured pints and shots to help support her family. Armed with a hockey skate and a bottle of lime juice at the age of twelve, Johnny saved his mother’s life by fighting off two staggering Mob lackeys that tried to attack her while she was closing up the pub for the night. After narrowly escaping the Mob infested, dead-end streets of his home town, Rockwell made his way to Lake Superior State University. A Criminal Justice Major, with a minor in Hip-Hop Culture and Society, the hand-gun enthusiast had aspirations of becoming an undercover assassin for the CIA. This plan was derailed however when he was found entertaining the university president’s daughter and her sorority sisters with a keg party on the zamboni at the university hockey rink. As a result of this being his 24th violation of school rules, he was dismissed from LSSU. Shortly thereafter Rockwell made his way to southern California. Rockwell made several attempts at working as a private detective and is said to have helped bust some of Hollywood’s biggest criminals such as Britney Spears’ stylist, Nicole Richie’s chauffeur, and Keanu Reeves’ agent. A rookie at the DDPD in experience, but certainly not swagger, Johnny Rockwell matter of factly states, “Pain is just weakness leaving your body”.
