On Frank’s fifth birthday his father left him for a tougher, better looking son who didn’t “play right field.” That day he joined the force and he vowed to never let another villain roam free. To this day Det. Ireland is a loose cannon pointed at criminals. A wrecking ball of destruction for justice. A ticking time bomb of integrity. The only things that can ease his pain are busting bad guys and re-runs of “My Two Dads.” Det. Ireland has been quoted as saying, “Mom, I will keep my promise to you and solve every crime ever.” Also, “Dad, call me if you’re not busy. Same number. You’re funny dad.”
