Detective Sam Lansing is the first son of Kal-El. He was on Spring Break when Krypton blew up, so, lacking a job and any real skills, he made his way to Earth where he mooched off his brother for a while. After being kicked out of the Fortress of Solitude for leaving Cheeto’s all over the floor and not contributing to the rent, he made his way to Colorado where he took some correspondence courses in law enforcement and pottery throwing. He has worked as a freelance detective for over 20 years, hiring his services out to various law enforcement agencies. Among his notable achievements is breaking up a notorious jaywalking ring in Seattle and watching “The Blues Brothers” over 300 times in an effort to understand the criminal mind. His one superpower is the “Frown of Trepidation.” It has been known to make criminals pause slightly in their tracks before committing their crimes.
